ESPN's Dana Jacobsen in trouble?????

I heard a discussion on CNN but can't find any other info on it. I was hoping there was more info out there.
It was reported that during a "roast" Jacobsen said "F*&^ Notre Dame and F*&^ Touchdown Jesus." The report also said that she has been suspended by ESPN for one week for "unspecified" reasons and that ESPN is not commenting on the incident and refuses to release tape of the incident. Some Catholic leaders are very upset with the second part of what she said. These folks seem to think she should receive a much stiffer punishment if this is the case.
I know that Mike and Mike (Golic and Greenberg) were set to be toasted about 2 weeks ago. Jacobsen was to be present at the roast. I wonder if this is when it happened. It would explain why ESPN is the only outlet with tape of the incident and why they aren't releasing it.

I have seen the clip of Jeffrey Ross. It is pretty raunchy.
This hasn't been a highly publicized news item so I wondered who else had seen or heard about it.

my problem with it was she was acting as rep for ESPN , this was not on her "private" time. In her private time she is free to whatever. While you are on the job you are a rep for your company. If a person gets fired for a noose cover on a mag that offends blacks I'd guess F^%#$ J^%$# sure deserves a pink slip for offending Catholics and Christians. I hope she gets canned. MD

Why would anyone expect different behavior from a Michigan gal? If she was acting as an agent of ESPN, she should be fired for being drunk AND embarrassing the network. It is not being widely reported, but she was repotedly very intoxicated, when the remarks were made.

after saying F Notre Dame, F Touch Down Jesus and F Jesus.
Interesting that her apology only said
"Jacobson said Tuesday in a statement: "I am sorry. My remarks about Notre Dame were foolish and insensitive. I respect all religions and did not mean anything derogatory by my poorly chosen words"
Notre Dame only?
I'd let her apologize, promise to be nice in that regard in the future and them move on and forget it.
Wonder where Al Sharpton is on this? hmmmmmmmmm

I agree....double standard! So who is surprised?
Al and Jesse are out trying to figure out how they can convince us that we are bad because we are white. Al Sherpton doesn't know his but from a hole in the ground, and we all remember those anti semitc remarks the good reverend Jackson made back when he was running for president back in 88. The only reason they get media coverge is because they both act like clowns on T.V.
Do you remember the Duke case? Where were they when it came out that the girl lied and the prosecuter knew she did. They backed off that like a fat boy at a sald bar. They sure as heck are not walking the path god intended for them. They wouldn't know god if he was talking to them,

My comment about Sharpton was because a week or so ago there was an announcer who Tiger Woods said he considered a friend and thought nothing of the remark she had made and he realized she didn't mean a thing by it but Sharpton was screaming for her head on a platter!
