Man oh Man cars go down in value FAST!!!

Just out of curiosity on my end I called up the son-in-law to see what my car would be worth on a new trade... it will be 2 years old in March we've got a little over 31,000 on it and that darn thing has lost $10,000 since we bought it! 
I never realized they lost that much !
