Our school family is devastated.
Tom ran 7 miles on a treadmill the day before he found out he was ill which was right before Christmas.
He will be dearly missed.

It is amazing how fast this evil disease can overtake you. I had a friend of mine who also died of cancer. He was diagnosed in August and died the following January. I think about him all the time and miss playing cards with him.
If you have any kinds of symptoms or aches and pains at all, please get them checked. I know sometimes it might be to late, but sometimes it isn't. My father found out he had colon cancer in a peculiar way. He went in to have his knees checked and somehow they detected something that wasn't right, checked him for the colon cancer and found that he hadt it. They went in and removed 18 inches of his colon and that was 13 years ago. He is still with us.
RIP Tom Grashel. If there ever was a true Trojan, it was Tom.

Tom had some testing done over the summer and nothing came up .
They went back and checked those tests to see if something had been missed.
There wasn't anything missed on them.
