If the fed's was not pumping so much money into the economy every month everyone would be able to see how bad things really are.

Read where it is getting better and it says consumers confidence is up again, for the third straight month.

I say bull crap.
What say you?

The economy has recovered. Welcome to the new normal. Labor is not rewarded in the new frontier. Got a skill in demand or education that allows you to get a quality job? Congratualtions. All the rest, sorry.

If labor wont be rewarded like it should be, then when the infrastructure falls apart (which is currently going on), where are states going to go to get those skills?
Sorry to disagree, but laborers will always survive tough times better than most just due to the fact that they are physically better prepared to do those nasty, dirty, heavy jobs that will always be with us.

A lot of white collar jobs have moved overseas in this decade making it tough even for college people to find jobs,a lot of them have to settle for lower tier jobs now just to make ends meet.

Cowboy,
Don't be fooled. Technology is increasing so that the dirtiest, most dangerous jobs will be automated someday. And by saying labor isn't rewarded, I was referring to mostly factory labor. Machines, robots and the digits 1 & 0 have permanently done away with a massive amount of labor. So, as I said, if you have a skill (labor) you will still be able to get a job but otherwise, welcome to the new normal. That's all I'm getting at. As for infrastructure, with structural unemployment (that's what it is) remaining high, there won't be the tax receipts to pay for those. Conundrum indeed!

If you're a Liberal, yes. If you're a realist, no.

Is that the only two choices...Liberal or realist?
