Eastern over Waverly in close game and Western over Piketon on night #1.Night #2 Consolation Waverly over Piketon the Eastern over Western for title. I expect all games to be close as usual.Always a great atmosphere at Downtown arena!

This is one year you can say it's up for grabs. I will say if Waverly can hit better than 30% of their shots like they did at South Webster they have a good shot at it.

... record wise it is not as strong of a field this year BUT imo as smurray pointed out it is very much "up for grabs" as to who will take home the championship ... the betting man goes with Eastern Pike to win the gold BUT with that said Western & Waverly BOTH are looking for that "we have arrived/turned the corner" games - the holiday tourney might be that time for these 2 teams imo ... Western played both Portsmouth East & Peebles tough & close sitting at 3-2 they have as good shot as any of the 4 to win the tourney ... Waverly has been getting by with "last year we were a young team" talk BUT there has to be a defining moment IF the Tigers are going to be a quality team THIS season it has to start Monday/Tuesday night in this Pike Co get-together ...
