Logan Scares the 'ville with a 57-58 near miss ...

... a big game for the Logan Purple ... the 'ville shot 60%+ from the field in the first meeting this year in route to a 57 point dismantling of the Chieftains ... since that game Logan has gone 5-1 losing only to Chillicothe on the road while Zanesville has posted a 7-1 record since the December 21st meeting with the Chiefs ...

... the Chieftains have climbed up the Treehugger Wannabee list while the Blue Devils have dropped below the Chillicothe Cavaliers to the #2 spot on the Elite 8 ... Logan's coaching staff has said in the papers that the 57 point deficit wasn't real but more a factor of being intimidated before they hit the floor ... Tuesday night the Chiefs will be at the friendly confines of the Katie Smith Gymnasium, home floor, home fans - don't say it "home cooking" - couldn't resist that one LOL ...

... Logan has found the range from the perimeter - Angle, Wright, Poindexter, Colliton, Morritz ... better board work from Zach Adams and help from Poindexter and Jon King, Jeff Deitz ... will be interesting to see what the LHS coaching staff has put together as a game plan to handle Cedric Harris, Logan Aronhalt - both lit up the Chiefs on the offensive end of the floor ... last game it was "junk defenses" this game ??? will the Chiefs get out and push the ball to the tune of their goal of 80 shots per game ? do they slow it down ? do they play toe to toe ? ...

... a good barometer type game for the Chiefs ... where do they stand vs the big boyz going into the post season play at the OCC party known as the Central District sectional play ... we'll be watching from the Cheap Seats as usual ...

... what are your thoughts on this one ? D1 team vs D1 team ... D1 program vs D1 program ...

Bring your ear plugs this will be a barn burner. I may be a minority but as stated before the talent on the Logan team when playing together can beat all oncomers. These young men will need to come with confidence and if they do they win by 5. Home court, Home fans, improved D and more confidence. Coach play them hard and put them away wet, it will take an A game from the full team. :o :-D :o :-D

Chiefs: Remember the game is 90% mental and 20% physical, give 110% LOL

... so you're calling for a 62 point turnaround by the Purple ???? ... Logan has only beaten one team with a winning record this season (Fairfield Union) ... Logan is averaging over 20 TOs pg ... 62 point turnaround hmmmm ...

If the Chiefs stop (or slow down) Logan Aronhalt and Andre Harris, it will be a good ball game.

... it was all over the high school today ... walking down the halls the students were asking "Is Zanesville going to cancel tonight???" LOL ... apparently the grief from last years Chillicothe debacle was too much to go through again - j/k ... all you Zanesville fans have a safe trip to the Katie this evening - roads are clear but I'm sure there are a few slick spots along the way ...
