Unioto will play Amanda the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
Unioto is playing for a former student who has cancer and had to have a leg amputated.
At 18 she needs to travel to Missouri for a prosthesis.

Warren plays host to Vinton County on November 21st.

Are these exhibitions, or do these games count in the season standings?

This counts as one of the team's scrimmages. However, I think most are treating the "scrimmage" like a real game. It will not count in the team's offical record.

North Adams will be playing Batavia on 11/22/08. We will start at 3:30 with a girls JV game followed by boys JV, girls varsiy and boys varsity. As stated before part of the proceeds will go to the National Transplant Assistance Fund from Batavia and part will go to the Adams County Regional Medical Center/ Sports Medicine Department. We also have a service project for that week , we are pairing our players up with elementary students like a big brother/big sister type of thing. We are refering to it as Basketball Buddies.

According to Clay's website, they will be playing Huntington-Ross (boys) on 11/22/08 and Wheelersburg (girls) on 11/24/08.

The games are being played to support the Clay Legacy Scholarship Fund, which the Scioto Foundation will match dollar for dollar (up to $10,000/year). Wheelersburg's share is also for their scholarship fund.

Sparky,
We are not as bad as what people are making us out to be for this year. Yes we will have our days and games where nothing will seem to go right, but we are looking to be a sleeper in the league. Williamsburg isn't terrible. They aren't real good either. They are very physical and extremely scrappy. West Union just really picked up the pace in the second half and continued to run with the ball. It should be an interesting year this year as we are trying to show the guys of this program a new style of basketball that they aren't used to.

Looks like the SHL faired pretty well in their games. Manchester must ahve played well to score 103, did you see the game Tar Heel? Best of luck to you Coach Brewer, I believe you have some talent and can be a huge sleeper.
