IMO, the Pirates come out on a mission Friday night after allowing one to slip away.

i agree with burgballer08 and bama. with the shocking buzzer beartin loss against valley last friday. the burg are gonna come into this game ridin the loss and will definatly take it out on the jeeps. this is also a different burg team than the jeeps played early in the season. IMHO this could be a long night for the jeeps. burg by 10

I hope that Wheelersburg is on their game and gets a good start. South Webster traditionally seems to have one big upset each year. They don't have that win yet this season and I am hoping that it is not this Friday.

With what remains on the schedule, this would have to listed as Wheelersburg's most likely win to come. They can not let it slip away. It only gets tougher from here.

BTW--does anyone knows if the Freshman game with Russell is still on tonight with the snow and all?

It will be a low scoring game much like the first one. Webster is going to come out in a zone a pack it inside the 3 point line trying to limit Andy's touches as much as possible and make Wheelersburg's guards beat them.

Burg will need to be prepared to play this game. SW played them very tough at home the first time around so Burg better come ready to play

I would hate to be a South Webster Jeep come Friday night. They will be playing a very determined team. Burg doesn't lose two in a row very often.

Oh Mad Dogg--like this has never happened before...

The two ADs will talk to each other and probably run the suggestions by the coaches and they will figure out a date. I promise you.

If you look at the SOC league schedule, there are 2 or 3 Tuesdays at the end of each season where no SOC games are scheduled. If neither team has picked up a non-league game on those days, these are available for make-ups as well as Saturdays and Wednesdays. Sometimes (hold on to your hat here) they even will play a make up game DURING tournaments.

The one thing that you can count on is that all SOC games will be eventually played. They can not be cancelled outright.

Feel better?
