wonder why the west union coach quit posting? i found it interesting to get his input on the games and the league. tar heel doesn't give out much info, all he does is wish everyone good luck. tries to be too politically correct.

I should have mentioned in my last post that NA has to get past Fairfield Friday before they can go for the gold ball Saturday against West Union. Good Luck Devils.

Hard to predict this game not knowing Unger's condition. If Unger's ankle is ok then North Adams should win by 10 or more. If Unger is hobbled I think North Adams still wins though the margin will be less.
Tarheel, I heard one of West Union's bigs is no longer with the team. Is that just a rumor?

Tar Heel Fan and North Adams fans,
What happened to Jeremy Bennington? I didnt see his name on the Rio Grande website for the Jv or Varsity teams. Did he quit school? Just curious. Thought he had some potential to improve and possibly make the varsity team in time.

Jeremy is playing at Shawnee State now...that is what I heard...I have not talked to Jeremy in a long time....And yes we lost Jordan Young are 6'7 kid...he did not like his ROLL on the team....big lose but this kids and all kids have to understand that when you play a team sport you have a roll on team.

Hate to hear that. Especially so close to the end of the season.

Is this kid a Senior? Amazing that a kid quits this close to end of season, but a coach has no choice. You have to do what is best for the team no matter who it is. Obviously, basketball isnt that important to this kid.

I've not seen a Bennington on the floor for SSU at any of the games I've been to. Maybe he's redshirting?

He would probably be playing on the JV team if they have one.

Could be right. If you look at the team picture from the year before there are 24+ players. I know Rio Grande had two JV teams last year. Jeremy played on the top JV team at Rio last year and more than likely is not playing anywhere.
