Not knocking the Dragons Earp, because they lost a lot of key players. I think two of those wins were against Green and Raceland. Sounds like the pre-conference schedule Persin used to play at Peake. Ha! Ha! South Point will win this one by at least 15.

I feel South Point has more talent as a team. Fisher and Bloomfield are 2 very talented guards and from what I've heard Salyers(sp?) is coming on strong for Fairland but I feel that Barnes, Prater and company are a better all around team. With that being said, If South Point plays like they did against Tug Valley they'll lose and by a wide margin. IMO Prater should touch the ball every possession, he can be a star, but hes averaging 7ppg? GET HIM THE BALL!!! South Point must play harder and take care of the basketball.
Coach Barnes is a good coach though he'll have them prepared come Friday Night.

Fisher and Bloomfield are going to put alot of pressure on the SP guards, and if Salyers can play good D on Prater without fouling the Dragons could win this one..
but whichever team wins it wont be by more than a few points.
GO DRAGONS!

The dragons got beat by a good SP team. Prater is a very good player as is Barnes. The good thing was the dragons didn't play their best. Matt Cambell played a pretty good game in place of Holbrook who has been sick. Salyers and Fisher led the dragons in scoring. IMO a healthy Dragon squad wins by ten but we will have to wait and see. The dragons need to work on rebounding and rotating back on D way to many easy buckets for South Point. Coach Barnes is a very intense coach as is coach McClung. This team plays hard and will be a team to reckon with when they get healthy.

South Point still has a few boys out due to grades, and one injured who is trying to slowly bounce back with each day.

Good to hear the point got things together tonight and played team ball ... Big win always want to start off conference play with a W and against a solid Fairland team its a big plus. Sounds like they finally saw the light and got Ethan the ball, which is a very good sign, anyone have any idea how many Barnes had? The way I see it is if South Point plays as a team and distributes the ball like they did against Portsmouth in the home opener they are a tough team to beat. Congrats Pointers! Fairland and Coach McSweeney good luck the rest of the way except when ya come down to SP lol
