This should be an excellent game. Big game for Eagles if they hope to repeat as SOC Champs. Notre Dame will beat some good teams this season...just hope its not Eastern.

I think Eastern will be too much for the young ND squad, but hope ND can pull off a victory at home. Eastern by 10.

To be fair eastern is as young as anyone in the league this year that being said I think they are to long and fast for noter dame it's hard to mactch up with them and they transition from "d" to offense like lightning I don't see anyone in the soc playing with them the closest two teams are noter dame and symmes valley but I think eastern is 10+ better than both of those teams.

Has school been canceled for tomorrow?

I am not saying that this game is being played, but I think the rule about both schools missing school doesn't exist because I know Clay played games last year when both schools were out but conditions improved during the day.

Congrats to the Eagles for going on the road and getting the victory.

At one point in the 4th ND was up 49-47.

Tough win for the Eagles on the road in the soc. Great job boys and coaches! Notre Dame must be much improved and on the right track to turning their program around. In the early and mid 90s the titans had some good teams and really good players. Happy to see them back to having a quality program. No disrespect to years past, just been very few Ws for them lately. Great job eagles!

ND played well at times. Guards need to penetrate the lanes more. Opportunities occur when guards take the ball into the lane. ND also needs to improve at the foul line. Don't know what they shot but it had to be under 50%. ND looks like they have some size, they should take advantage of that. Their 3-2 zone was working, but only with the lead.
I was impressed with Easterns aggressiveness. Eastern has nice quickness. Good court awareness. Point guard ran the show and played under control. Eastern should be around the top in SOC 1. Eastern didn't force shot with the lead against ND's 3-2 zone. Again good awareness of game situation.

Congrats Eagles on a nice road win. Best of luck to the Titans. I hear you are much improved and will get your share of wins this season.

Wow, ND stuck right with the eagles in this one. Talking about the mid 90's teams, do they really have someone like Young to go to? With that size? Who did put up all the points in this one?
