If the Tigers play like they did against Trace then it's another upset win.

When we pound it inside we're a very tough team to beat. If we can cut the 3 point shots down to shooting them only on kickouts from the post then teams will be in trouble, 60% (on a good night, I think we were higher than that against Trace) from the paint vrs. 20% (if were lucky) from behind the arc, by my math thats 12 points to 6, not to mention the trips to the line, getting other teams in foul trouble and rebounding position. POUND IT POUND IT POUND IT. GO TIGERS bring home a W

I agree, crazymidgets, go where the money is. Nothing wrong with firing up the wide open 3 but sometimes they're taken when not needed. Take it down low first, Martin, Kretzer and/or Ward should touch the ball in the paint every possession.

Well with every team we play showing us some form of box and 1 or triangle and 2 they want us to shoot the 3. most teams arent even guarding us on the perimeter other than on Kretzer and most of the time he has a guard on him giving up 5-6 inches he could have monster games if he posts up just a little more, points, rebounds and assists. Dump it down, kick it out and if you can dump it back down again, do it. POUND THE BALL INSIDE

Good luck Waverly! Most people who know basketball have said all year that if the Tigers could get it together, they could be really good.....now its time to prove it.

Waverly has to play a great game to win. Hillsboro will be much tougher than M Trace. We have to handle the press and play good solid defense- I think this has the making for a great game with it going down to the wire. Good Luck Waverly!!!!

dont know about a great game to win, we have already seen hillsboro a couple of times in shootouts wont be any surprises, if waverly plays solid like the trace game they will be fine.

If Waverly wins, it won't be an upset. They've lost 4-1 point games and 2-3 points games at least. Turn those around and they're 16-5 instead of 10-11. I can see them making a good tournament run.

I'm assuming this is the only game being played at Southeastern today?

The offense has to go through Matin and Kretzer for Waverly to be successful. Making foul shots and handling the press will be critical.

There will be nothing easy about this game. Hillsboro's guards are very good.

Honestly, I think Waverly would be the favorite in this game. They are a dangerous team and I'd love to see a team who plays mostly D3 schools to make a run in D2, so maybe the coaches in those other league will stop underseeding those schools when it comes tournament time.
