BACF Boys Basketball Game

The Battle Against Cystic Fibrosis Continues with the 14th Annual OH vs. WV Basketball Classic. The game will be played Friday, April 3 at Parkersburg South High School. The girls game will start at 5:30PM with the boys to follow. Skills competitions will be contested at halftime of each game with the boys slam dunk contest and 3-point shoot-out to be at halftime of the girls game.
Coaching the Ohio Boys team this year will be Warren Local coach Blane Maddox. Coach Maddox guided his team to a district final appearance, SEAOAL championship, and 22-3 record, falling to an undefeated Chilicothe Unioto in the district final. He will be assisted by Waterford coach Tom Simms.
The Captain of the 2015 BACF OH Boys Team is Warren’s Michael Hall. The 6’-6†guard averaged 17ppg, 8.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and shot 46% from the floor for Coach Maddox. He has been selected already as a Div II 2nd Team All-Ohio honoree, representative of the District 13 1st Team All-Star Team, and the Southeast Ohio Athletic League Player of the Year.

Coaching the WV Boys team this year will be Williamstown's Scott Sauro. The Yellowjackets finished the season with a 23-4 record, advancing to the state semi-finals before falling to Wheeling Central.
The Captain of the 2015 BACF WV Boys Team is Williamstown's Gage Wix. Wix led the Yellow Jackets in scoring at 16.8ppg and 5.9 rpg, earning 1st Team Class A All-State honors this season and being named the LKC Player of the Year.
