Alex is coming off of a Double OT Loss at Jackson 75-72 on Tuesday. Athens last played Sat against Fed Hock gaining a Win, their 8th in a Row. Alex won the 1st meeting 50-44. This time around Stone Markins looks to be back in the picture, returning from Injury, but Caleb Terry possibly Out??? Thoughts on this One?

Alexander is a solid team that plays hard. They hit a lot of tough shots on Jackson. I think Athens having a little more size all-around makes them a tough matchup.

Athens should win but it could be a good game.

Winner guaranteed sole possession of 2nd place in TVC-Ohio and possibly tied for 1st with VC if Wellston can pull off the Upset.

Shouldn't be close considering Athens has 6 players or so competing for TVC Ohio POY.

About two weeks ago, I thought Athens was going to spank the spartans the second time. However, Alexander has got their second wind the past few weeks. Athens has played so much better over the past three weeks. I would say Athens is favored, but Alexander is going to be in the game right up to the end.

Go Alex.

I hope Athens has been practicing those Foul Shots. I think they were something like 11-23 last time these 2 played.

The edge goes to Alexander. All the pieces are there for a win. however the Athens winning streak now at 8 with their new team first approach. The Bulldogs are a different team since the first game. Players feel it and fans see it. Spartans are very tough and physical. Will go down to the wire. Was at the Alexander -Jackson game it was hard fought and exciting.

And don't forget Coach of the Year. I will go along with Vision Queen and the other Athens player's parents on here and say Athens by 50.

That's a nail biter for this squad of All-Stars

I think it has been a few games since Athens has seen some Man to Man defense. Teams have been playing them Zone lately. This somewhat concerns me as I know Alex will be up on Athens in that Man to Man.

Athens should win by 8-10. Basketball is about matchups and execution. The matchup favors Athens.

I definitely saw some Athens people at the Alex @ Jackson game. Some of the comments on here about Cooper Donaldson being out and Jackson relying on 1 or 2 scorers is becoming incredibly dumber as the games pass by.

Jackson scoring 17, 13, 11, 11, 10, 10

Finally crawling out from that Rock you been under since Athens has been on their Winning Streak? Haven't heard anything out of you Troll. Usually you're on here professing your Love for a Former Coach or Bashing Athens which it seems you are doing again. What's your motive and agenda? Since you love the former coach that was Forced out and try to degrade the current Coaching Staff at Athens.

Terry out with tailbone/back injury? I really wanted to watch him play but he was out.
