Division 2 - Sheridan, with Waverly/Athens also having a chance

Division 3 - Wheelersburg, but likely won’t because of Harvest Prep

Division 4 - South Webster

Division 3 Wheelersburg and Eastern Pike

Division4 South Webster (not sure who else from SHL or TVC Hocking have a legit shot)

Harvest Prep lost a few kids, did they recruit any more game changers or is it just CJ Anthony (#2) back?

I don't think it matters because If it's not Harvest Prep, it's probably Africentric then. Would be very difficult to beat either one. Did they recruit more? Everyone already knows the answer to that

What’s the difference in Harvest Prep recruiting players compared to what many schools do in SEO? I won’t name names

D4 path to Columbus a lot easier now that Africentric/Harvest Prep/Wellington are D3 (the SE Ohio D3 schools are now seeing what the SE Ohio D4 schools have had to deal with the past 10+ years). Berlin Hiland lost their scorers from last year, but you know they will reload. Not sure what the Central District will send down to Regionals as the small Christian schools are sometimes known to improve quickly for various reasons. Webster has as good as chance as any to get to Columbus as both Blevins and Bockway's size and athleticism will give D4 teams fits. Also think teams like Green, New Boston, Whiteoak, Peebles, Coal Grove, etc. will be in the mix as well.*

With Carter Mccorkel in the post for the Burg, he may be a dominating force this season

There are a couple of Burg sophomores who could see some quality playing time in preparation for next season.

Rosscoresident ..... you are correct! There is no difference. Unfortunately if your team loses to a team that has transfers it is not fair. “They have an all-star team.” If your team beats others because you have transfers it is because those players want to play in a good program. 🙄

Unfortunately it is a southern Ohio thing! We have schools and communities, that whine because they can’t beat private schools but they like to thump on their chests when kids transfer into their schools.

Didn’t complain about recruiting and Wheelersburg doesn’t recruit.

Piketon?? If Eastern was in D4 they would have a very good chance. Africentric is coming Beaver this season should be a great test for the Eagles.

Have seen Piketon in some scrimmages. They look tough, and IMO they will surprise a lot of people. When it comes tourney time, coach Legg will have them where they need to be. Eastern has a great starting five, and they have great coach. Barrick knows how to win. Looks like he's building a nice program in Beaver. Only thing I think will hurt them is depth. As for Burg, it's The Burg.
