Col.Africentric traveling to Beaver Saturday to take on the Eagles.. should be a great test for Eastern. Expect a big crowd as they are honoring the 1984 Elite 8 team. Thoughts??

Lets hope the weather doesn't put a damper on this one.
Ive been looking forward to the rematch all year. This one will be real a challenge for the Eagles.

I heard game was canceled for tomorrow. Can anyone confirm?

Awesome. Half of southern Ohio will be there.Schedule it in a bigger venue and it will pack the joint.

Shawnee could use it as a scouting game to see players they may not know about

Big game for Eastern. Africentric always plays the toughest schedule in the state for D3

According to the Cols.Dispathch newspaper online, Africentric is 8-7 as of today, I think Eastern Pike has pretty good chance to beat the Nuibians this season, I know they play a pretty strong schedule, according to maxpreps there roster goes like this,two 6'4", three at 6'3"one at 6'2"and two 6'0" and so on

I compliment Eastern for scheduling up and placing a team like Africentric. But this game will be an entirely different type game than any type game they have played all year. The speed of the game will be much faster than any game they have played. If they can adjust to the speed of the game they might be able to play with them. But I wouldn’t count on that. Africentric is a Columbus City League team and they are use to playing very good teams.

I love that they scheduled this game. These teams played last year at Portsmouth Buckeye Elite Classic and Africentric got the win 59-49. This is exactly what Eastern needs to see before tournaments.

Surprised Beaver is rescheduling this game. Hats off to them.
