What’s both teams records? They play any of the same teams.

Keyser is such a mismatch for teams. His body control is so smooth for a kid his height. He seems like he’d be a matchup nightmare for just about anyone in the area. Does Fairland have anyone who’s a good matchup for him?

Fairlands season ends . If Fairland is hitting 3's it will be close but I say Minford wins this one.

Should be a good game, I don't see Fairland being able to match up with Minford. Montgomery and Keyser will be too much to handle for the Dragons. Plus Minford is playing with a big chip on their shoulder from last year's tournament after being knock out by North Adams in the District Final. I can't see them losing to this one. They're no doubt looking for the rematch against North Adams in the final again, if North Adams can get by Ironton.

I think the outcome of this game rests on how well Minford can stay out of foul trouble. I haven't heard any on Troy Rhodes, but he hasn't played since the second matchup against Waverly. With Rhodes, Minford was never more than a 7 deep team unless it was a blowout. Without him, rotations become more difficult to manage and when foul trouble becomes a factor against a good team, it could play a critical role in the outcome. Even with Rhodes out, Minford's starting 5 is as good as anybody in the district. But depending how deep they have to get into the bench can really dictate every game from this point on in the tournament. I hope Rhodes is back at some point, but he missed the South Point game and the Sectional Final against Nelsonville York. Minford really misses his defense, rebounding, and ability to score on the perimeter as well as drive and score. Without him, Minford is missing a major weapon in their arsenal as they hope to make a deeper run in the tournament this year.

Earlier this year they scrimmaged:
19-9 Fairland
19-17 Fairland
20-8 Minford
14-6 Fairland

I think Fairland matches well with Minford. Both teams are familiar with each other. Depth might be a factor and that edge goes to Fairland. This game is a toss up for me.

Minford should win on talent alone in this one, but from my experience watching Minford, I wouldn't count anything out

I've watched Fairland several times this a very good ball club . They are well coached and shoot well. they are quick and hussle. I wouldn't take any bets on this game, but I think Fairland wins.
