Good to see upsets still happening in a watered-down tourney. Congrats Huntington Ross.*

I pray that they didn’t sing Hail to the Victors the whole way home lol
Smith had 29 and Carpenter 21 for the Vikings, but Huntington’s balance was the difference maker. 5 players with 8+, led by Frankie Hirsch’s 17.
Huntington started the season 1-9 and 2-10 since then, Hirsch has averaged nearly 20 PPG and with a freshman PG who gets steadier by the game. They’ve won 6 out of 10 to close the season and should be in for brighter days next year with their backcourt together for another 2 years.
They are now 4-6 in games decided by 5 points or less, so they will be very experienced if the matchup with Peebles is played tightly.

I've always liked the Kalvin Manson kid in the paint, on the boards, they never go to him enough BUT as has been pointed out - they are getting better every time they see the floor ... every year since Manson was a freshman I've touted the young mans talent - he's obviously being a key player now, but as a senior next season - big things from this young man ... he will anchor the interior for a much improved team in 2025-26 ... best of luck in THIS post season to the Huntsmen ...
