Viked Man - Yes, Belpre has a JV squad. They beat FH 31-26. Most of those girls dressed for varsity too.

Nelsonville 69
Minford 71

Nelsonville trailed big in the second half, I guess, actually took the lead at the end. Meade had a shot at the end, but it didn't go.

Alexander 39
Logan Elm 71

They may struggle but remember they also are probably behind as a team since most of the players are still in Volleyball mode.

Waterford- 56

Southern- 7

AT THE HALF!!!!!!!!!!

I just heard that Waterford has pressed the whole game and hasnt stopped, even though the game is clearly out of reach, thats pretty poor to do that!!!

Fed Hock - 71

Eastern - 19

And Fed Hock didn't press very much the entire game. It was 39 to 11 at halftime.

Might not have pressed the entire game, but didn't take out his starters
until there was only about 3 minutes left in the game. Way to run up the score.

Run up the score? What are they supposed to do, not shoot layups? Pull up from breaking the Eastern press, when you have 2 on 1 and not take the layup?

Your post is total sour grapes. Coach Butcher has never run up the score, period. Look at his record over the last five years coaching the Fed Hock boys.

And, the starters were not in until the last three minutes. He put in 1 sophomore and 4 freshman with 4+ minutes to go, and they kept scoring on your varsity. Prior to that, he took the majority of his starting line-up out and played his three bench players (who are all very good) and two starters. Let's keep the facts straight.

Don't point your poison where the problem doesn't exist. If you are unhappy with the performance of your team, don't blame your opponent, or their coach.

The score could have been a whole lot worse than what it was.

Vinton County over Nelsonville York by 2. I think the score was 59-57 or something like that.

Waterford 95

Southern 26

Sounds like Waterford never let up off of the accelerator, scoring another 39 points in the second half to their opponents 19 second half points......

I'm guessing that the Turley girl scored at least 19 of Southern's points in this one........
