Oak Hill Advances!

Oak Hill will advance to their 12th straight District Finals after defeating #2 seed Nelsonville York 69-44.
Oaks dominated from beginning to end. Great game all-around holding Kline to 10 I believe.
Oaks move on to take on Alexander next Saturday

The Lady Oaks took it to the Lady Buckeyes from all reports I received. Way to go Lady Oaks. See you next Saturday in Waverly.

I would have been there today, but the ACM company thing I worked out with our sister paper in Athens allowed them to cover the Lady Oaks-Nelsonville-York game today and I covered the New Lexington Vinton County game today in Wellston for both papers.
Kevin Wiseman of The Athens Messenger did a fine job with his story which I already have. He got some good quotes from Coach Hale.
Not that Buzz Fisher doesn't do a bad job either.

yeah, I look forward to reading the stories, I heard some good quotes given to both you guys and the PDT. We will see how the PDT does though
Look forward to seeing you. I still have the picture from the regional Oak Hill vs. Zane Trace game that you sent me as my screen saver! Hopefully we will be making that trip this year and a few more years in the future.

one thing though, Mikie Strite is just a freshman, they have her listed in the article as a sophomore. Don't take a year away from her!
