Southern Shoot out

Southern Lady Tornadoes will be having a shootout on
June 14th at Southern High School.
It will be limited to the first 6 teams.
Guaranteed 3 games
$175 per team - checks made to Southern Athletic Boosters
T-shirts (limit 12 per team)
$100 deposit and shirt sizes must be in by May 23
High School and Jr. High gyms will be used.

Shoot-Out Rules
1. 20 minute running clock – clock stops last 2 minutes of 2nd half
2. Teams will be placed in a 3 team pool. Teams will play a round robin within their
pool. Teams will be seeded by best records from both pools combined. Teams with same records will be chosen by a draw. Teams will play a single elimination tourney after pool play.
3. 3 games guaranteed
4. Only shoot 2 shot fouls. Shoot 1 shot, if made counts as 2 points.
5. All common fouls will be taken out of bounds.
6. Each team will have 2 full time-outs per game. Clock runs during time-outs except in last 2 minutes of 2nd half.
7.. If game ends on a tie we will have a jump ball and the team to score 2 points, either by a field goal or free throw wins.
8. Teams must have reversible jerseys.

The shoot out has been canceled do to a lack of teams. Could not get a definite answer by the 23rd from 6 teams.
