Things are really heating up at the AAU Division II 14u girls national championship being played in Hampton Roads, VA this week. Ohio is represented by the Southern Ohio Magic team coached by Ken Justice. Magic is playing in pool F which is the only pool to go the distance. It is literally down to the last two games which are being played tonight. There are no undefeated teams in this pool, the only pool that does not have a dominate team. Kenny's team played the 0-4 team (VA Swish) at 8:30 pm, but so far no news on the outcome. MAGIC has a great opportunity to capture the pool title which will give them a bye in the championship bracket.
UPDATE: Just got word that MAGIC won big over Virginia tonight (70-34) and WON their pool. Good job girls! They play in the championship bracket beginning Thursday at 5:30 pm.
