Many of their girls play AAU basketball so that's where a lot of them have been. They did play as a team in Cincinnati at the GBA Nationals a couple of weeks ago and then played at a team camp at Marshall, I think that's where it was, this past weekend.

As the previous poster stated, they will be fine.

I am always around. Check the site out at least once a day as long as I am in town.

THe girls look good so far, had a real good weekend at Cincy and also at Marshall. Just had a scrimmage against Chillicothe on Tuesday.

They are working hard and getting better.

glad to hear the girls are playing looks like its going to be a big year for the soc
i have saw adkins and puckett in aau both looked really good
puckett will be a big help this year with caudill, hale and burton thats alot of height for a school team
im sure strite will be playing great too
and in my opinion adkins doesnt get the credit she deserves shes very talented
her defense has improved greatly since i first saw her in aau
offensively she may be best passer in the league and seems to always end up scoring alot
im sure there are others i havent mentioned those are just the ones i have saw
the stuff i said about the lady oaks not having enough for a team you know i was just kidding to see if MOF was alive .they will probably have more depth than anyone around
oh how did the scrimmage with chilly go? i hear they are pretty good!
who all did they play @marshall?

Glad to hear the Vinton Co Allstars are doing well. They should be a force this year. I see them going very far and only getting better over the next 3-4 years.

3 girls were from the VC area. Last time I checked Oak Hill had 15-20 girls in their program. For it to be the VC all stars wouldn't all of the girls have to be from there?

How many of those 3 are starters? You may have 15-20 girls but only 5 on the court at a time. And 3 of those will be VC transfers. 3 out of 5 aint bad. Enjoy your tainted season, your recruiting team worked hard for it.

I will enjoy it knowing that none of them were recruited as so many like to say. I don't see a single VC girl in the group, looks like all Oak Hill Lady Oaks to me.

Is it condisered "transfers" if you leave in elementary? I thought transfers fell under leaving one high school for another. Two of the girls your talking about never wore viking uniforms.

Our kids played ball with or against most of the girls your talking about and I believe they (2 of the girls) never played organized basketball in Jr./High School for Vinton County.

Sounds like HaterAid already has a built-in excuse when the Lady Oaks beat his team. And it's only mid-August, too.
