Who is the new coach?

John Burdette

I think he do ok. Only time will tell

yeah thats who it is...he has coached many teams in the past and has done an excellent job...so they made a smart choice by hiring him

where has Coach Burdette coached at before. What are some of the many teams that he has coached and how have they done. From what I have heard he is coming at the right time the 9th graders coming in is loaded along with the jr high. good luck

Watched him coach junior high last year. He does have some good girls in the JH, but when they get to Varsity seems to be a whole different ballgame. Hope they do well.

I hope him the best also alot of talent in the sophmore class. I belive its alittle different from jr. high different way to handle these older girls. Might have to cool his temperment with these girls. But alot talent there several sophmore girls at least a couple with a year of varsity playing time that will help alot. But i belive most of the freshman will play jv this year.

7th.....johns dad will be coaching her

I think she played 7th grade last year didn't she? Shouldn't she be an 8th grader this year?

John's daughter will be in 7th grade this year for sure. And John will do a very good job with this postion, it may take a couple of years. They have made a very good decsion. Good luck Eagles!!!

John Burdette was a good basketball player at Meigs back in the late 80's.

John will do a great job at Eastern.

I personally know Mr. Burdette very well, and i believe 100% that the lady Eagles will be just fine. easily a winning season . Good luck
