Oak Hill will dominate the SOC II.
I haven't heard much on any of the SOC teams this year. How is Waverly and West looking this year?

Forgot several soc 2 schools. You never know how each team will do on a given night. I would agree Oak Hill should be the favorite.

I know I was just joking. Oak Hill, West, Burg and Minford will all have good teams.

Lady Falcons showed to good looks and ball control during their home scrimmage against Federal Hocking. 15 girls participated in the scrimmage with all getting positive playing time through eight 10-minute running periods outscoring the Lancers 108-28 total.
The Lady Falcons should compete in conference play right there with Oak Hill. Looking forward to seeing that contest.

In my opinion, no one in the league will be within 10 points of Oak Hill. Caught a glimpse of them this summer and they look hungry. Losing the players they did will hurt (that was a lot of points), but every game last year it seemed as if they had a different leading scorer.

Kendra Justice would have to score 40+ to keep Minford in the game

Burg has the best shot just because they have some nice athletes and can get rolling at times, especially if Oak Hill has an off shooting night.

I would say Valley would be tough but it always seems like they start out strong through Dec., have a big lay-off and then they are reading to be done with basketball. I would like to see Bear get a full season in though.

Hopefully, P. West will have another good showing. That freshman class was tough and now they have a year under their belts.

yes Justice definitely needs to shoot the ball more, she needs to avg around 15+ and probably 8+ assists for that team to go, also they need to utilize the talent they have around her, slowing the ball down does not play well for them. Utilize the talent they have at the Freshmen class and work towards the end of the season run..Burg will be a tough team Schmidt is tough, I look for Pwest to have a strong season if they blend the freshmen and sophmore class in good..Leader and Cremeans could be a tough combo...the Oaks are what they are and will win, but I look for them to maybe have a tougher road.

Good thing about basketball is that you can work towards the tourney and make up for a slow season by making a long run..Good luck

after what I saw tonight I'd place West ahead of burg or minford. They can play. Burg has no height hardly at all and I did'nt see enough offense out of Minford to hang with West.
