Oak Hill is the best team. Jenna Burdette from Reedsville Eastern is a freshman stud

I have heard Oak Hill is pretty good. Do they have any stand outs. I also gathered from some post on here that Burdett was pretty good and also that Eastern has some other freshman who are decent too. By the way, if I am coming from the Ashland Ky area would 93 be my best way to go to Oak Hill?

93 is not the best road, so be careful if the weather is bad..

Irontons 6'1 Nikki Elswick

4 Games

Points - 33 - 25 - 25 - 25 = 108 points = 27 PPG

Rebounds - 16 - 9 - 7 - 13 = 45 = 11.25 RPG

Foul Shots - 12 of 15 - 3 of 4 - 3 of 5 - 7 of 11 = 25 of 35 = 71.4%

Just read in the Ironton Tribune that Ms Elswick is signed with Shawnee State. Congrats to her.

Alexander Spartans... they may not be big but they are very good, if you get a chance to catch a game it is well worth your time, they are very exciting and fun to watch!

always looking to see new talent. Size should not be a sole determining factor. I have coached some pretty good 5'2 to 5'7 kids.

Just curious...Have you seen the Elswick girl play? She's played AAU w/ Caudill and Burton and is a cousin to the Butler sisters.

Sitting here drinking my morning coffee and thinking about the talent I saw at the Oak Hill vs Ironton game last night. The Elswick kid is a sound player. To be honest, I guess Oak Hill is keeping their talent quiet on here. They are a well rounded team that is unselfish with each other and that is why they very well could go all the way to Columbus. I must say though the Butler kid was everywhere last night. She had points, steals, rebounds, assists and free throws. She was a coaches dream last night. With that being said, the Caudill kid and the Burton kid hung tough with the Elswick kid. Good team work and this former coach may just have to make the trip up 93 once again on Thursday.
