My prediction is this Coach Combs goes to Unito Bentley takes over boys program. Good lord could you imagine Bentley on the boys side with as much as he is hated on the girls side. He has two twin Sons that are coming and they are extremely talented. If he becomes the boys coach he will recruit every young talented boy from 270 to the Ohio river. If he jumps to the boy side let the party begin ..

i’m not saying he’s going anywhere but it’s just a possibility rumors are Coach Combs is leaving. I have Unioto friends and they have been saying this for a while

Okay. In your scenario, who takes over the girls program?

I’m pretty sure the Williams girl that’s on the team, her dad coached them through youth league. The guy seemed like a really good coach. That may be an option.

Just because I mentioned you league doesn’t mean that is all he is capable of. Mike Bartrum coaches in the NFL and the same Mike Bartrum coached his kids in youth league. Go play somewhere else you troll!

Combs is not going anywhere--neither is Bentley---so many programs would love to have what VC has-- just think of how many programs would be better if they had either one of them----Athens-Alexander-Meigs--just a few--You don't think these programs would have won more or gone farther???????

Always seems to be at the top or near in boys basketball for last 15 yrs--girls program over last few years is the same. And who has done much better yr after yr?????

And done nothing in the tournament. At least Athens, NY, and Alexander have made deep runs in the tournament in most sports

Alexander girls went further than vinton in tourney, so better restate that again. Bentley hasn't been out of the districts. Don't act like he's had success outside of winning the tvc

Alex has been one of the most consistent basketball programs in the area for a while now..... I believe they have had more post season success as well can mpared to VC.
