Fairlands First real game thoughts

Haven’t seen the Tigers this year, but after seeing both last year, I can’t imagine this is close.

I know where you are coming from but I saw Fairland vs Parkersburg last week and they didn’t look great. Seen Marietta twice and Marietta’s defense looks stout. Fairland seems to be missing the Barnitz and Hinkle girls. May be closer than you think………

DII Rankings have Fairland at #3 , behind Purcell Marian #1 and Akron St Vincent at #2 . Marietta is currently ranked #7 . Both teams are undefeated .
Looks like it will be a very good game , hopefully the Dragons pull it out

Yes , that needs to change , boys and girls .
I told friends that Fairland boys should have hung a Public School Champions banner the year with Van Horns bunch .

Fairland up 14-0 with 2:12 in the 1st qtr.

Fairland up 22-2 @ end of 1st qtr.

Fairland up 32-10 with 1:39 in the 2nd qtr.

Fairland up on Marietta 40-12 @ the half

Fairland has had a ton of unforced turnovers , they score could easily be 50-12 .

Not surprised by this score. Fairland is an absolute machine, come tournament time they will be on a mission. Coach McClain appears to be doing a great job at Marietta, they are much improved. However they need to continue improving the schedule, they’re a pretty easy 9-0 at this point.
