SOC I

Any thoughts on the teams in the SOC I? Eastern is most likely the favorite to win it again, while Clay competes at the top. Who else looks like they may be in the top half of the league? I see Western and Notre Dame rounding out the top half.

Until the other teams in the SOC I start taking volleyball really serious Eastern will continue to stay on top.

The girls from Eastern work year round, which is uncommon in this area, especially in the conference. Volleyball just seems to run in the blood of Eastern girls.

I think Notre Dame will be good. Should make it into Districts. But I just don't see them challenging Eastern at all. Unless they make HUGE improvements and have some GREAT freshman coming up, I just don't see Notre Dame being the team that challenges them.

Nice to hear they have upcoming freshman. It would be awesome to see ND get back to where they was a few years ago when they tied Eastern for the SOC. Unfortunately though, Eastern has a group of girls about 4-6 deep coming in as freshman next year as well, who can all sit Varsity, and 2-3 even start.

Sounds like Eastern and Notre Dame are gonna top the SOC next year and the few years to come!

So far, from what I've heard throughout the summer, Eastern should not only win the league but come out undefeated again as well. But that is why you have to play the game!
