Warren Local held their baseball awards banquet last night after an 18-8 season and 3rd place SEOAL finish. Receiving awards were:
Justin Adams, Sr........Loren Weinstock Award (Sportsmanship)
Trace Lydick, Sr.........Most Improved (Co-award)
Andrew Coffman, Jr...Most Improved (Co-award)
David Lemon, Sr........All-Seoal and Honorable Mention All-District
Tyler Spence, Jr.........All-Seoal and 1st Team All-District
Daniel Wagner, Sr......All-Seoal, 1st Team All-District, Alternate for Mizuno All-Star game and Team MVP. Daniel also set the school record for career wins as a pitcher with a 28-4 mark. He also has signed to play college ball at West Virginia State.

Does anyone have the team stats for this year ? I find it hard to believe that Hooper was not nominated for any district or honorable mention selections .

I was shocked that Cory wasn't selected for at least All-SEOAL but I have heard since then that his batting average kept him off...I don't know what it was though.
