What major should i go into to become a college baseball coach? I play baseball in high school and am confident i can play D2 or junior college baseball. I know i want to coach college baseball after i get out of college but im not sure what the nessisary steps are to reach my dream.

Any college degree will work. Your college degree should be so you can abtain employment after graduation in case your effort to become a coach fail. After your playing days are over becoming a grad assistant will aid you in becoming a college baseball coach. Networking has a lot to do with abtaining this goal. I will warn you... unless you are at a very large university coaching pay is lower than becoming a teacher/baseball coach at the high school level.
Good luck

You're probably asking in the wrong place. If I were you, I would ask around, I'm not sure where you are from, but you probably have at least a small college near you that has a baseball team. Try to talk to one of their coaches about the steps that they took to becoming a college coach. Or, try emailing some coaches with your questions. If you haven't already, ask your high school coach. He will probably be able to give you some insight.
