That is great to hear. How hard does he throw or is he a crafty lefthander? Best wishes from Nelsonville-York.

I think you meant Tyler Welch not Tyler Webb.

Tyler is actually currently playing for Ohio Valley Christian in Parkersburg. He took a couple of years off from playing while attending OU but is now back on the diamond. He was actually my assistant JV coach at Fairfield Union a few years ago. He was definitely Coach Conrad's go to guy on the mound for the Irish in his day!

By the way...Donson is definitely getting it done for Fisher, as he has been now for a few years. My only concern is the health of his arm. They use him an awful lot. He's pitched numerous times this year in back to back nights. For instance he'll start one night and pitch 4 innings then come in the next night and relieve for 3 or 4 innings. Or he'll relieve 3 or 4 innings two nights in a row. I'm sure he's a tough kid, but that's tough on a high school kid's arm. I hope he'll be okay for the next level. What are his plans? Has he signed anywhere? Is he playing for Post 11 again this summer?

Frozen Rope....yes Donson's plan on playing for Post 11 again this summer....and think the coaches have done a good job watching him this year....He has barely pitched 50 innings this year ...and has happened he has had to pitch in relief after throwing another game...but he's their ace and has really worked hard preparing for his senior year.....still throwing with Alan...every sunday and he's a great role model for him and yes he has alot of schools looking at him...kinda going to wait before saying who....but he's a tough kid and a better young man.....know his dad well and he...is a good coach and knows his baseball....got good genes.....starting against Grandview tonite or

tommorow depending if field is ready,,,,
