I will keep the SOUTH if someone can keep the NORTH ... these threads have been very helpful to coaches in the district when it comes to voting on seeds - so posting scores/updated records is appreciated.
Here is the SOUTH ...

Voting on seeds should be more than just records. The sterhgth of schedule should also be taken into consideration. Some coaches pad their schedule to get W's and others challenge the kids with a more agressive schedule. I have seen several team right at .500 better than teams with only one or two losses.
Actually the SEODB can fix alot of the seeding process problems but refuse to listen to even the coaches in this matter. Why not run story on why we are the only ones doing it a way where several bottom teams can dictate who plays who.

Jackson Ironmen move to 4-0 with win over Portmouth 4/3/13. Face Chillicothe this Friday and a DH at Waverly this Saturday.
Some highlights this week are the hitting of Tyler Neal a home run earlier in week against Wellston, and he and the entire squad explode for a 12 or 13 run inning last night against Portsmouth. Freshman Austin Leach 1-hit the Rockets through 5-innings with a fine mound perfromance and his first Varsity win.

Unioto is 1-5, but I still wouldn't want to see them in a one and done situation. Their 2 studs that have carried them to the regionals the last two years are still around. But, they do need to get some wins quickly.
