Great win by the Ironladies. Battled back from a tough start. Waverly batted 7 and scored 2 runs in the first while Jackson squandered a great opportunity in the first. Freshman Kacee Jenkins earned her first ever win by shutting out the Waverly squad the final 6 innings. Behind Jenkins was a defense that committed zero errors for the assist. Offensively, Kari Jenkins went 3/3 with a walk and the game winning walk off single in the bottom of the 7th. Senior, Jessica Webb scored 2 of the 3 runs including the game winner.
A big win for the Ironladies. The past two seasons Waverly has easily handled the Jackson girls. An excellent all-around team win.
