He has a booming leg and his accuracy is spot on. Nice weapon to have the next three years.

The qb continues the get better each week
#26 ran about as good as I have seen him run
Kicker with another long field goal and another 1 or 2 kickoffs in the end one
Yeah I can agree with this. Burg needs to work on a bit of tackling this upcoming week. I know we only gave up 7 but I feel we gave a lot of yards up on the runs outside. Kids broke some tackles that shouldn’t have been broken but they got better as the game went on.

I couldn’t believe how many yards Greenup was getting on the ground and a lot of missed tackles too!! Yes they only scored 7 but the defense come up big when they needed too. I guess tonight it was bend but don’t break kind of night.

At one point late in the first half they had 7 kids on the field that didn't play a snap of varsity football last year.
Greenup fumble deep in burg territory and wr dropped td
So they could have had more than 7
I’m starting to think they don’t let the kicker kick deep because the coaches don’t trust there kickoff coverage
If sammons didn’t get it in the endzone Greenup brought it out to the mid field area

Burg’s defense needs some more work but I think Coach Woodward is really challenging his guys in practice and Burg is getting better! Not the most talented group but if they keep improving I could see them in the hunt for the region again this year. Will be interesting to see next week when Wheelersburg has gotta go up against a strong physical Jackson team. Will they be able to stop the run?

Yep, a reload
The scores from the first 2 games doesn't really say "reload" my man. But it seems the coaches are putting pieces in place to make the team a contender.

Couldve had more than 7....but they didn't. Bottom line burg gave up 7 to a QB like that.
Greenup is a 2-3 football team that marched up and down the field in the first half
That was not good D
The qb being good had nothing to do with not being able to tackle everybody else

Agree FB nut .. GC moved the ball rather easily in the first half . Burg's D was really poor in half 1 . As mentioned , GC gave up a fumble deep in burg territory, and a kid dropped a perfectly thrown bomb for a TD as well. My point is Greenup isn't very good , high level QB but I dont know how the kid stays focused with as many dropped passes as he gets every week ( as told by GC friends of mine) last night was the norm . Dropped passes every possession . Burgs O looked fine , lots of weapons . But I'd be worried about the D . They got shredded for a half against a team that finish 4th or worse in the SOC2.

In Johnstowns defense so far they've played D2, 3 & 4 teams that are a combined 14-2 and their losses are to Zanesville, Licking Valley and Granville who are all undefeated.

Does Greenup never have room in the press box for opposing coaches? I thought it was crappy that our coaches had to stand on the steps to the press box
