Good game. ZT missed a good bit around the basket while Unioto shot it rather poorly from the outside.

Johnson was out for ZT, while Zickafoose played spot minutes for the Shermans

Very physical game on both ends and it took Unioto about 12 minutes to adjust to a team who was going to really compete like ZT does.

Coy, Fitch and Welch were all in double figures for Unioto, while Berry and McCullough were for ZT. Roman Berry has made a giant leap in his game from last season on both ends.
Close game, but I would not call it a good game. Both teams played awful in the first half. A little better in the second half. Zane Trace missed many inside shots in the second half. Also, ZT has a problem with players not knowing their role. There is a reason that you are open!! The Unioto 14-0 run was the difference.

Any idea why Johnson did not play and if he is expected to miss any significant amount of time? Hopefully it was just a minor illness. I didn't see the previous two games against PV & SE. Did he get injured?

It was a previously scheduled family obligation that was planned for before he had decided to play basketball. He’ll be back soon for the Pioneers.

Oh ok thanks. Just glad it isn't anything serious.
