Eastern at Western 1-22
Eastern at Western 1-22
The Eagles will travel to Latham to take on the Indians for the third time this season. The boys from Beaver look to continue their winning ways over the Indians, but the tribe is on the war path and beating the battle drums.
Good Luck Eagles!

They play two league games (this is the second league game) and have faced each other during the Pike County Holiday Tourney.
Re: Eastern at Western 1-22
In the two games these schools have already played, Eastern is averaging 75.5 points per game and Western has averaged 47. The average margin of victory for Eastern has been 23.5 (Game 1 - 78 to 55 & game 2 - 73 to 49).
This should be an easy win for the Eagles, but the way this year has went in SOC II action, I wouldn't forget to show up for this one!
Stay focused and take it one game at a time Eagles.

That would be a good prediction claypantherfan.
On the year, Western is averaging 56 points a game and allowing an average of 68 points per game. (Average of scoring 12 less a game than opponent)
Eastern is averaging 64 points a game and allowing an average of 52 points per game. (Average of scoring 12 more a game than opponent)
Re: Eastern at Western 1-22
I am going to play the average of the two previous meetings:
Game 1 - 78 to 55 & game 2 - 73 to 49
My mathematical prediction:
Eastern - 76
Western - 52
Game 1 - 78 to 55 & game 2 - 73 to 49
My mathematical prediction:
Eastern - 76
Western - 52

Re: Eastern at Western 1-22
Always tough to beat Western at Western...just ask Clay. Plus it is always hard to beat any team 3 times in a season because the teams get so "familiar" with each other.
Western will do all they can to upset the Eagles in this one.
In the end, I'll take the Eagles by 10.

I think Western will play better at home than they did in previous 2 meetings.I think they will keep it close.I'm sure they will be fired up to face the first place Eagles.I'll take Eastern by 11.
Re: Eastern at Western 1-22
I see Eastern taking this one, although I do agree it's tough to beat the Indians at home...
Re: Eastern at Western 1-22
Western has played much better ball lately. Cooper and Bakenhaster seem to be getting more physical on the inside and really stepping up on the offensive end. That being said, after a very nice showing by the Eagles vs. the number 1 Class A team from WV this past weekend, I think they get back on the winning side of things by double digits.
Re: Eastern at Western 1-22
I am hoping Western can take this one at home and open up the SOC I. That will give Clay a shot at tying for the lead with a win over Eastern at home. They beat them last year by 5 at home after losing to them by 22 at their place.

Where has Lightle04 been? Haven't seen him on here lately...He usually keeps up on Western.

I've been wondering the same thing. Alot of the Western faithful have not been on here. Losing can be tough, especially with all of the success that Western has had the last 5 years or so.
