got me a membership to farmers sportsman. and caught myself a nice 8 to 10 pound blue cat tonight not a bad start to my fishing year..

Its a lil club thing here in jackson im pretty sure thats the name of them or maybe thats just what my family has always called em.. Basically a stocked pound and they have shooting range and everything..

It sets right off sour run. just go out there and go to the house and pay the man lol. real polite old feller that runs it.

Is it a big pond like a pay lake? Is Catfish the only fish in the place? Whats the membership dues?

its a decent size lake. I seen alot of bass swimming around and crappie fisherman are their 2. what ya mean by dues? Its 35 for my family to fish there ll year and that includes the lake gun range and all that.

granted its still earlie in the year but we hve been there 3 straight nights and only one time their was 2 other fishers...


We went out tonight and my wife caught a nice 1 about 12 pounds now im no good at guessign weight but i try hard.
I also took a swim after my pole grrr hate when that happens lol..
