I also noticed your players like to hit after the whistle might get some personal fouls if they use them in this game
Lmao. Contained for 1 quarter, MAYBE. Come on man. You obviously are looking through rose colored glasses. Burg put up 41 in that game. If that was contained, I’d hate to see what it would have been had they not “contained” Burg. The fumble wouldn’t have made a difference. The refs also missed some calls the other way as well. So, it goes both ways. All that aside. Burg DOMINATED that game.

Late hits? That hasn’t been an issue all year. They play until the whistle blows, like any good team does. They just like to find the kid with his head in the clouds and bring him back to earth for a minute.

Region 20 winner
I agree most likely Region 20 winner. Apparently they are announcing the pairings before this week's game. The interesting thing is if it is Region 20 and if West Jefferson wins this week it is very likely we will wind back up in Chillicothe next week if we take care of business this Friday.

I was thinking Chillicothe would be a possibility if Wheelersburg and West Jeff play each other. I’d say both teams are pulling for West Jeff as it would be a fairly short trip for both teams assuming that the winner plays the region 20 winner.

Surely doesn't hurt! I hope everyone enjoys the facilities. I know its hard to see but once the new 3-6th elementary is built parking will be a non issue. Only thing left is phase 3 which is all new locker rooms and weight room.
Last week was too cold and this week my cousin is playing music at the Cozy Inn. I will see if i make it. BTW, another GREAT place to eat is the Cozy Inn. 4-5 blocks from the stadium and is a darn good hamburger. Hole in wall type atmosphere, recently remolded. Local favorite.

Wheelersburg big. Both are good physical teams, but Burg has a big edge on speed. Both teams are going to struggle to run the ball. Since the weather is going to be ideal, I'm expecting QB will pick apart Johnnies suspect pass defense. Johnstown drew some good seeding matchups in weeks 11 and 12 that played to their strengths, but they're going against the probable D5 champ this week. Drew Pasteur's math doesn't do justice to Johnstown schedule. They were 1-2 against playoff teams in the regular season, but might have beat Watterson. This is their peak. This could be as ugly as past losses against Big Red without the jerkitude. Burg D needs to play three quarters to prep for the next games, but don't cut off the tape in case Johnnies start rolling the twos.

For sure. I wasn’t knocking it. I’m glad it’s you guys getting the money and not someone up north.

If Johnstown is going to “CONTAIN” Wheelersburg like West did then I think the Pirates will be playing next week.

And they've got a Dakota's Roadhouse if you're missing the one in Portsmouth. You gotta go in the wrong direction, but it's close to the stadium and you're just going to be sitting in traffic traveling east anyhow. With all that passing in the game, you might not make it to the one in Waverly before they close, ha ha.

Man, I have to say, you are about as annoying as it comes. That is what i appreciate about you though. You are true to your team, and come into a lions den and brag on your team. I know you are getting crapped on, but I'm glad you keep coming back for more.

Now when the game is over, as many of us do when we suffer a loss late in the playoffs, I'm sure you will be back in here to own up to your feeding of Crow, correct? I, like the majority, predict a Burg win..... then again, we all did against Coshocton last year and when we blew it. If Burg can not stop the powerhouse force of the Johnnies You'll get your props on preps!

Close game till late 3rd, Burg pulls away
Burg 35
Johns 14

I knew you would appreciate the slip.

It's a great place to grab some food --- bowl of soup --- hamburger.

One of those places everyone should try.
