Let’s get some thoughts. I know it’s still football season but round ball is just around the corner. With holden and truitt both back I look for the burg to be heavy contenders for the soc 2 title
As they should be.. I think the Tigers of Waverly will challenge....
Waverly has already taken a hit, Landon Hoover will miss his Senior season with an injury. Terribly sad news for a young man who has worked his tail off improving his game...
I know the name is familiar, as I saw the Tigers a couple times last year. Sorry for the injury. When did this happen and is it a serious injury? If I might ask did it happen while practicing for basketball? Again very sorry for the young man, even worse being a senior.
Now I remember his first name was Andrew. To me I always thought he was one of the best all around players that ever played at Burg, as well as in all of SEO.

Andrew is the all-time leading scorer at Burg with around 1800 points I believe. He was one of the best IMO as well.
Congratulations Mr. Holden. Nice place to watch a game. Went down to watch Burleson play a few times while he was there. Looks like will be making a few more trips there the next few years.

You people need to get over the recruiting thing. If I was in high school and an athlete that was serious about sports, I would go to BURG. Look at the success they have had, not just recently but from years past to now. I have no affiliation with Wheelersburg at all, just an outsider looking in. It starts from your feeder system and then comes up. Pee Wee programs need to let their high school coaches have full control of their biddy system, get coaches down there that want to teach things the right way. I think this is why Wheelersburg has great success, they get coaches that want to teach and not just a parent wanting to win.
