I wasn’t lumping them together! If I were then warren would’ve finished 4th.
If it was up to you it’d be $5 to park huh
92, that’s nice of you. Poo Bear pays for my parking. I just pull up and tell the ladies I’m with Poo and they wave me right on by.
If it was up to me it would be $0
Lol no one believes any of that
As I see it the TVC is an uber prideful group of schools and fan bases. I’m going to say this and mean nothing insulting or demeaning but IMO Athens doesn’t fit in with that group. Alexander, Vinton Co, Wellston, Nelsonville, Meigs...they all go together in my head. When I see those teams on the schedule it just screams TVC. River Valley no feel there at all but a good fit for them.
I don’t disagree. VC is the only charter Ohio team. We tried to get into the Seoal at the time and were not accepted. The TVC began after that and slowly, the schools that weren’t the most competitive in the Seoal started leaving for the TVC. If you look at the schools that left the Seoal for the TVC over the years, (Meigs, Wellston, NY) They were all on the smaller side of enrollment. I think that definitely contributed to their decisions to move conferences. Much like Warren when they did the opposite and left the TVC for the Seoal. They were a large TVC school. The only school that made the switch that wasn’t on the low end of enrollment in the Seoal was Athens. They were at the time (and still would be) a middle to upper Seoal school in terms of enrollment. The Seoal was made up of mostly city schools. The bigger towns in SEO (Jackson, Logan, gallipolis, Marietta) Athens fits in with that scenario better than the small town rural schools. (Alex, NY, Meigs, VC, RV) Its just an odd setup.Ironman92 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 3:13 pmAs I see it the TVC is an uber prideful group of schools and fan bases. Athens, Logan, Warren, Marietta and maybe the Parkersburg schools or Sheridan would be a good league.
