Reds players and Staff underwent testing on both Saturday and Sunday via a drive through method at Great American Ball Park. The club is also continuing to carry out contact tracing. The hope being that all the Sunday test results will be know by Monday. That's also when the team will know if it's been cleared to fly to Kansas City, to open a two game series on Tuesday against the Royals.

As long as they keep Bell as the manager they will not win. He doesn't have a clue how to manage a major league team. He almost has the mentality of a little league coach in that he acts like he has to play every player every game. This team has talent but he keeps jockeying with the lineup everyday and its hard to watch. Like someone said, that nonsense of pulling Votto the other night was the worst managerial move I've ever witnessed.

Bell is clueless!!!!!!

But as long as Bell's father (Buddy) is in the Red's front office and as long as grandfather's name (Gus) is revered in the Queen City, David will not be fired.

It was rough to watch that night bases loaded 1out n Votto can’t come to the plate from being pulled for a pinch runner.

After The Reds had two games postponed last weekend because of a player positive Covid-19 test, they are scheduled to resume their season Tuesday evening in Kansas City. The Reds didn't receive a definitive green light from Major League Baseball on Monday, but they haven't had any additional positive tests and they are prepared to proceed with their trip Tuesday morning.

The Cincinnati Reds have submitted a plan to Government Officials and Major League Baseball for fans to attend home games at Great American Ball Park this season. The plan was approved by the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, but it still needs approval from the State of Ohio and MLB. If the Reds plan receives full approval, fans would not return to their stadium until September at the earliest.

Cincinnati Reds pitcher Trevor Bauer pitched seven strong innings of 1-hit baseball, and the Reds beat Kansas City 5-0 on Wednesday night to gain a split in their doubleheader, which was marked by strong starting pitching from both teams. In the opener, Brad Keller didn't allow the Reds a hit until the 6th inning of a 4-0 Royals win. The Reds hit four homeruns to give Bauer all the support he needed. Jesse Winker's 2-run HR was his 6th HR of the season. The Reds also got HR's from Eugenia Suarez, Nick Castellanos and Curt Casali.

You both are probably right. I seem to remember an article, maybe when he was with the Indians, when he made a statement about someday wanting to pitch for the Dodgers. Of course we all know that Bauer is not backward about saying what he thinks.

The Cincinnati Reds and the Reds Players reach out to the LGBTQ Community following Thom Brennaman's slur. Brennaman might be done as the Reds broadcaster following a hot-mic moment that immediately garnered a wave of scruting, and saw the announcer suspended by nights end. Just as Wednesdays game came back from a commercial, Brennaman can be heard using a homophobic slur before continuing on with the call of the game. Later in the 2nd game, the 56 yr old announcer issued an on air apology, interrupted by a Nick Castellanos HR. The Reds issued a statement saying that the organization is devasted by the horrific homophobic remark made this evening by broadcaster Thom Brennaman. As to Brennaman's future, it doesn't look all that bright. The Reds Embrace a zero tolerance policy for bias or discrimination of any kind. Fox Sports Ohio echoed the Reds sentiments and supported their decision to suspend Brennaman as well.

It was bad but I don't think he should lose his job. He gave a sincere apology imo. He probably will but some of these players say things that make you cringe and they never lose theirs. Double standard.

Cincinnati Reds reliever Raisel Iglesias had retired all his previous 16 batters with eight strikeouts entering his latest appearance. Well that streak ended in typical Iglesias fashion, as he continues to blow save after save. This is beginning to be expected out of him as he did it so many times last year also. With a two run lead , he blew the save as usual and was then on the hook for the 5-4 loss as well. I really believe that he and the Reds need to move on from each other, maybe a trade would help both?
