Alex is DV (1-5 record) they opted out the way most teams should have. Belpre is D6 (2-4) and will play this week just to get another game in since Newcomerstown cancelled the "playoff" game I would guess ? End result will probably be Belpre is 2-5 after this week and 2-6 after their "playoff" game next week.

And they should. After Fort Frye beats them next week in the playoffs, I hope the coaching staff schedules games in week 9 and 10 as they are allowed to do so.

This will help the kids returning next year and gives the seniors the chance to go out with 10 games.

Alexander should have little problems beating Belpre but we can always hope the Eagles will start to generate some offense and play better defense.

With coach Binegar's experience at Parkersburg Catholic and their eternal battle against low numbers, I think he can do good at Belpre because we battle low numbers as well.

Hopefully, they can get 10 games in this year.
