What every high school athlete needs to understand is verbal offers basically is, you are in the running for a roster spot and are close to signing some sort of an agreement. Whether it be a full ride, partials or even financial aid packages to (NAIA, D1, D2, D3 non-scholarship division) Verbal Offer is a loose term.
