I could possibly see that. His son has graduated and could possibly be interested in getting back to being a h/c.

Travis was the varsity assistant. He coached at East, West, assistant under Ater at Burg when they were in the regional finals back to back years. He has been in the game for quite awhile. If he applies, then this is the guy.

I wish Dirk Hollar would step back into a head coach spot but with his kids unless he sends them to muletown no chance this happens.

Re: Minford coaching job
This makes a lot of sense and would be a homerun hire for Minford. Like others said, Bradford’s son graduated, so I could see him being interested in being a head coach again. Did a solid job at East and West in the past, as well as top assistant at Burg and Notre Dame.2quick2catch wrote: Tue May 13, 2025 8:34 am Name I heard potentially interested was Travis Bradford.
As for Hollar, can’t see him leaving Burg with his kids coming up.*

If I remember right, he was an assistant at Minford under John Strickland in the early 2000’s. Also is a teacher and if there would be a way to get him to Minford teaching as well that would be great.Hoopster98 wrote: Tue May 13, 2025 9:33 am Travis was the varsity assistant. If I remember correctly, Bradford was a finalist the last time this job came open.

JD will stay in the furnace. I would be interested to see the list of applicants on Friday though.

Someone willing to leak who is close to admin I would imagine, although I have seen applicant lists in newspapers before, I think Chillicothe paper listed all of their applicants years ago. That being said, I am not sure if this was by way of a public records inquiry or if that is even applicable, or if someone in the know just shared it.

I believe at Burg, but not sure.CuckooNest wrote: Tue May 13, 2025 7:00 amJared Alley? I had to look I didn’t realize he was an assistant there. Wonder if he’s in education somewhere?BigBlueNation wrote: Mon May 12, 2025 4:28 pmWhat about the Burg assistant that is a Falcon alumni.MinfordHawk wrote: Mon May 12, 2025 3:52 pm Definitely a hot destination. Coming off of the final 4 run, while losing a lot of talent there still is plenty of it in minford. Have been hearing of two alumni’s giving it a thought of putting in for the job. Kyle Pertueset and Matthew Gullett
Re: Minford coaching job
I just hope they hire someone who cares about the kids, the program, and school. Being a Falcon isn’t always easy, but most of us say it’s worth it. We have great kids but lack school support at times.
Can we hire Pfloyd?!

Re: Minford coaching job
Just to rile people up lol. It’s no secret it’s more of a co head coach thing we have going on in jeep nation, and Fentons THE guy when Norm rides off into the sunset. Plus Webster’s pipeline is strong for the next 4 years. Minford might win 7 games next yearJeeps06 wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 8:35 pmI would be shocked to see Fenton leave WebsterLovehoops4 wrote: Sat May 10, 2025 6:10 pm This job was just posted as open who does the seop community brings in this job. Very overlooked in my opinion with some players who can win them games like Tate Johnson Carter frazee Curtis Glenn Ashton reeder Ty Borland Mark Napier. Also two big men on the jv side who weren’t the best but brought presence with there size.
Coaches who could have the job.
1.Jd King after having above average season’s at green maybe looking to test his talents at a bigger school
2. Ryan Fenton after being under norm wing these last couple season he is experienced and I think he can turn minford into something very good in these next season and lots of rumors of him applying for the itown job he might be looking at having full control of his own team.
3. Doug willams has been rumored in the last two years to move on from western but Kamryn James and drew haggy were a main reason to stay at western I would not be suprised to see Doug take his talents to the Soc 3 and try to fight for another Soc title or be a dark horse come playoff time.

Unless someone in the know or close decides to hop on good old seops and post, our best chance for information is probably someone sitting in the parking lot with binoculars on interview day. None of these are happening.
