Word travels fast, heard about this one before it was posted. I think you'll see a position switch to RB possibly not sure he stays at the QB spot. Rumors have swirled about this one for quite some time, I can only imagine all the thoughts going around Muletown with this one. They were putting a lot of hope on that 8th grade group even though it was only carried by 2 players. Do the guys who are going to be seniors stick it out for another VERY rough year or do they head to greener pastures to try and make the most of how much HS time they have left?? No one believed me when I said Minford was at best a 3 win team last year, let's go ahead and put it out there again 2025 at best they're probably a 2-3 win team. Good Luck to the young man his passion seems to be with football, while his brother should have a nice career in track come college time.

Harvest prep is loading up too:

Finally, Harvest Prep has 3 new addition from what i’m aware of: All 3 have D1 offers.

Tre “Tripp” Johnson (Reynoldsburg) —> Harvest Prep
Stephan Harris Jr (Bishop Hartley) —> Harvest Prep
Deyaire Adams (Walnut Ridge) —> Harvest Prep

Not sure if he a transfer, but HP has a legit QB who can spin it. Numerous MAC offers already as a sophomore and rumor is Penn State interested. They going to be tough next few years.*

Yeah, this one been speculated on for last 3+ years. Finally official. Kid is a player at QB, but safety looks like the best shot to go D1 given his build.

Will be interesting to see what happens to rest of Minford’s solid 8th grade class. Already rumblings a few of them will also be leaving and hearing Burg, Ironton, and West as the rumored destinations.*

Really sad to see these kids leaving Minford.

Participation rates already low, and now their best talent is leaving. How long until schools like Minford just drop football?

Given the success Minford has had in soccer lately I would say football downward spiral will continue in Mule town

Unless these kids are bringing their attitudes with them harvest prep needs to fix the mentality issues or it will derail their season. They will definitely have the pieces to win

Watched that group play that 8th grade class really just consisted of a maybe 2-3 quality players that carried the load. Easton isn't going to get much taller so I just don't see QB in his future, he's a older 8th grader. Still nothing special across the line, I really don't see too many impactful players leaving. I still questions the guys that are still there

Some of the camps are probably some of those "invitation only elite camps" I am sure. How can any position be locked up until game time/season comes around? Shouldn't coaches play their best kid at any position no matter who it is?
2028 QB/ATH Brock Biggs attended Trent Dilfers QB IQ camp in New Jersey led by NFL QB Coaches.

He is also a regular at the Manning Passing Academy.

He didn’t play any Varsity at Boyd County as a Freshman, doubt he’s ready to start over Edwards.
It sounds like he doesn’t stay anywhere very long. I’m sure if he doesn’t play then he will transfer again. Has he already enrolled??
Edwards has proven exactly nothing at the QB position. The Biggs kid could come in and win the job immediately. That said, Edwards will have to be on the field somewhere with the ball in his hands.

Saw that Ironton is no longer playing Cabell-Midland week 7. And that Midland has filled that game with DeSales

Looks like Thornville Sheridan has an open date that week. That would be a fun match up

They aren’t a bad program at all. I say make it happen. No one wants a 9 game season
