Raggedy Ann and Andy- the starting point here was when cartoonist Johnny Gruelle found and old doll in his mother's attic. Ann was made in 1915, and Andy was started in 1920

In the late 60s and early 70s we had Evel Knievel and in 1973 for Christmas, Ideal Toy Company put out the Evil Knievel Stunt Cycle play set.
