I will defer to pfloyd but it seems like Southern just not in sync yet. Not taking anything away from Caldwell. They are athletic enough and defended well. Southern with 2 points in the second quarter and 3 points in the fourth. Not a great recipe but i think they fix things as time moves on. Caldwell will continue to be a thorn for people moving forward as well.

MC for real again. They pressure so much and turn you over making it difficult for you to get into an offense. They didn't shoot well today and from what I hear, that has been a struggle for them so far but they run and they drive to the basket hard putting pressure on your defense. Probably need a little more consistency in their perimeter shooting and their bench reliability/production but I think they will be a real threat to return to Dayton.

I may have overestimated Waterford earlier. Lack some discipline and maybe a piece or two. Eastern got whipped but MC is very very good. Not knocking Philo but I don't think they are on that level. I think Eastern is firmly #2 in the TVC with what Waterford showed today. I do realize they just got out of football and it was evident in this game but they have quite a bit of work to do.
