Jackson vs Unioto

Post by Ironman92 »

Everyone is here….biggest basketball crowd for a game I’ve seen at Jackson in the regular season.

Same Jackson vs Unioto game as is played every year

It’s the only team that fully has Unioto’s number

All game long Jackson was on it. Defense, passing, shooting, transition….everything. When they hit shots from the arc and pass the way they have, tough to beat.

Charlie Woodard was in control all game doing everything a coach could ask for and not afraid of the big shot. Wolford just grinds away and scores every game. He’s stronger, faster and quicker than everyone thinks. Jax Carroll…kid is everywhere with great instincts and half a step ahead of everyone. He’s not even getting to show off his deep shooting. Stephen Jenkins….passing, getting to the hoop and really sees the floor. Ryan Seimetz…defense, mid range, strong…he is Hackson basketball. CJ Crabtree….uh oh, Jackson has a 6’3 athletic wildcard that is buying in on defense and gaining big confidence on defense. He’s been a difference maker off the bench. Dayton Kallner providing ball handling, defense and quickness off the bench.

Fun team….and if they keep improving, could be real fun here in a couple months.

I didn't keep any napkin stats tonight, but I would love to know the number of assists Jackson had tonight. That's the LEAST selfish play (if that's even a legit phrase) I've seen from that Jackson team in a long time. Didn't force the ball, and great distribution of the rock.

And rebounds... wow.

If that Jackson team shows up each night, they are a tough matchup for anyone.

And absolutely GREAT kid in Blake Fitch getting his 1,000th tonight... very, very well deserved. Congrats to him, his team and family!

I thought they were super unselfish vs Alexander.

Watched Jackson in preseason scrimmages and they looked good on offense and defense.

Fitch is a very good player but seen him struggle when he has a defender with length guarding him! Congrats on 1000!

Jackson is playing good basketball. Saw them against MT. Good couple of weeks from them. U is no joke. However, huge 20 point win from Jackson.

FAC will be a battle until the last game of this season

Jackson’s defensive intensity was off the charts, playing for Jackson isnt easy , but it’s worth it , if your strong enough

Kids did look strong but I made it down to watch my buddy’s kid play for Unioto. That one Jackson starter wasn’t very big at all and I can’t imagine him being very strong, but he was definitely a difference maker. Jack Carall? (sp)
