Re: Eastern Brown 71 Peebles 70 a final ...
Well done Pfloyd! In my opinion this was an instant classic! Peebles is going to do some damage in dVI this year! I think both teams got their first MAJOR test of the year. Two huge moments in the last 10 seconds. First one for me was when I saw Ramer pull up to shoot the three. I thought for sure they would go inside to Dick for the potential foul. I was stunned and even shouted ""NO!" At the tv. my jaw dropped as the shot drained. The second moment was when Peebles took the final shot and the shot was tipped and fell short. It was so fast I thought Peebles might have a legit beef on the no call. I went back and did a rewind a bunch of times. I felt like I was Kevin Costner in "JFK" ...( down and to the left...down and to the left). I did freeze frame by frame screen shots. The contact was to the ball and clean. Truly a great game, and i felt exhausted watching it!

Well done Pfloyd Thanks for your always stellar napkin stats. I'm only sorry that I was not there for a chat. I may have jinxed my boys by not being there. haha! I will catch you down the line.I will add one thing to the discussion: Conner Gross getting into foul trouble had a big effect to Peebles Second half. He's the one that sees the floor so well and dishes out the assists for the Indians. He amazes me sometime how he sees the floor so quickly.pfloyd wrote: Wed Jan 07, 2026 5:28 pm Eastern Brown 71

Very fun game to get to call from floor level.
Two really good teams with outstanding coaching staffs and each community has some outstanding people that I’ve been able to meet on my trips. Easy to root for both schools.
Both teams needed a game like last night and I’m sure the staffs are going to make each group even better over the next couple of days in practice and in the film room.
